It's been a whirlwind these past few months--weddings, events, and great fashion shoots at mansions and in ice rooms like you see here. My June 2007 Bride April volunteered to dress up like an Ice Princess for this fashion shoot right after she celebrated her one year anniversary with her firefighter hero Jeff. ICEBULB of Newport Beach set up this elaborate ice room with ice curtains, ice couch, ice cocktail table, ice martini bar, ice sculpture and even an ice ice-cream bar! Luckily, April managed to look hot in this cool environment! Thanks to Castle for Brides for lending us this beautiful dress, and Jodee Boodman of Salon Canvass in Huntington Beach for her talents with tresses.

Katie and Cameron

Katie is a referral from April! The wedding was at the Balboa Yacht Club with a detour to the beach in between the ceremony and reception.

Katie's friend and wedding planner Clinton stood up as one of Cameron's groomsmen, while Katie's lineup included her favorite (and only) sister who happened to be seven months pregnant. Have you ever seen a cuter pregnant lady than LaRee? Her husband Kenny provided the entertainment for the evening with a touching song sung to Katie and Cameron before the reception as well as a music slideshow of their lives. Most of the guests continued the party at the Hyatt bar once the reception closed down. Katie and Cameron are a darling couple and we had a blast covering their wedding. Cameron arrived at the wedding courtesy Matt's duffy boat so Katie can officially say her ship has come in!

Scarlett O'Hara

I am one of the luckiest photographers in the world-all my friends ask me how I book the most beautiful brides. Rachelle reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara. She dated her fiance for 12 years before marrying last summer. It was a wonderful ceremony at University of San Diego Founder's Chapel. As an alumnae of USD, it was fun for me to go back and see all the changes at my alma mater. Spencer, Rachelle's groom, kept us laughing all day.
